make that choice!
I must admit, I’ve been very negligent in updating my blog. Well, a few reasons abound. I have been very busy with work. I started to go back to jogging and being physically active again of which of course consumed the time when I used to sit in front of the computer and stare blankly on the screen while I wait for that free flowing thought to flood my rusty and clogged mind.
A few months back, I was undeniably under this tremendous weight of lowliness, stress and desperation. (what a perfect combo, isn’t?) But who says life should be miserable? I guess misery only happens when we keep that dark side of us afloat. Just like the old saying goes- there’s always two sides in every story. Wait, yes, this aptly applies to you, your life story that is. Choices are made every time, every second. Even when it comes to a point when you are but to utter, “ I have no choice”. Arguably, being trapped in that seemingly inescapable situation is a matter of choice. And so what am I trying to say here? As I’ve mentioned, I too struggled in a downhill situation and I’ve decided to pick myself up and go on walking to my path of self-discovery and to fulfill my life-long mission. I've decided to open another chapter of my life story.
Just recently I made some important and life changing decisions. I chose to resign from my current job, which is a big gamble to do so at this point of my life. Working for this company is indeed an enriching experience, I can honestly say that I can perform well with the tasks and responsibilities assigned to me. I work hard to deliver what is expected. But sometimes, i just feel so incomplete. I thought that maybe something bigger is in store for me out there. Your drive and passion for growth should always be kept burning, and so I made this very painstaking choice to leave my comfort zone for good. I am moving on with a grateful heart to the company that nurtured and believed in me. We should never settle for less than what we can achieve, opportunities flourish everywhere, the possibilities are infinite, and so are a person's capabilities. Never cease to learn, if you do more, you’ll be more than what you are and the next thing you know, you’ll just be amazed of the wonders that you can do to change your life.
To sum it all up in a one liner: Make that choice, it will mold you and define you, and then again, it will teach you and enrich you whatever the outcome may be.(",)
