Jane Goodall and my love for nature

I first learned about Jane Goodall 4-5 years ago from a line in the movie Someone Like You which starred Ashley Judd and Hugh Jackman. Actually, as far I can recall it Ashely Judd's character is a namesake of Jane Goodall. It is unusual that my interest was developed from a movie that is completely different from Dr. Goodall's real life story. Anyway, I've always been naturally attached with nature and animals since I was a kid but it is only until I entered college that I've develop a complete and strong interest with nature conservation and animal advocacy, I participated in various activities to feed my blossoming love with nature. I learned more about the great works of Jane Goodall, her life as a young scientist in a Chimpanzee reservation camp in Gombe established a more human connection to the rest of the world. It was during these times that she made history that were parallel to the contribution of the late Dian Fossey- who is also a great anthropologist who dedicated her life to research and science. I've realized the enormity of support needed in actively participating, protecting, upholding and seriously caring for our environment and all of its elements, the human and animal life. Jane Goodall founded an organization that would help realize these dreams, it is a goal that everyone should set for. It's is never too late to give back to the environment the love that it has nutured us to this day.
