the paper shredder

I have been working in this company for over a year now and I never saw a paper shredder around until tonight! Haha! It was like the most exciting part of my day. The thought of playing with it was enough to rouse me up from my solitary, squared world. It has been a very tough month for me actually, and this stressing period wont be over soon, I know. And the paper shredder just gave me a new symbol of hope. haha! While i was there sitting flat on the floor and feeding this hungry machine with trash papers, I thought this could be a good stress reliever, and why not? While I shred those papers in the machine, i thought of all those highly stressful, horrific experiences I've had in my life and shred it into those tiny pieces. I enjoyed it. It was a release, it was a huge relief and it helped me. I've read in a self- help book somewhere that you can write down all your hate, angst, pain and anxiety in sheet of paper, crumple it and burn it afterwards, thus emancipating ourselves from all that crap feeling that we have inside of us.. shredding the office paper is definitely the same thing. So when you're stressed, one quick trip in your shredding room can make a difference! Haha! cheer up guys!

I’ve always thought that a paper shredder is a necessity in an organization because it destroys important documents that are no longer needed and it lessens the clutter on an employee’s desk. But wow, by reading this post, I learned about a new feature of a shredder – it can be a stress reliever! :) I tried it and it’s really fun to watch the paper while it’s being torn into pieces. Anyway, I had fun reading your post. Hope you’re doing great. :)
